PARCC Mathematics How To Be Successful Videos

This page will contain videos on how to be successful on the PARCC Mathematics Sample Assessments that were released.  These examples will take you through the important components of the PARCC Mathematics Assessments highlighting what the Marlboro Township School District feels you need to know to navigate the assessments successfully. All videos are narrated by the Superintendent, Dr. Eric Hibbs.

 

The 1st video will discuss the Assessment Reference Sheet located in the "Exhibits" folder.

 

 

 The 2nd video will discuss the bold words that exist in the PARCC Sample Assessments.

 

 

The 3rd video will show you how to divide a circle and then shade.  This is an interesting example from the Sample PARCC Mathematics End of Year Assessments. 

 

 

 

The 4th video will explain how to Drag and Drop.

 

 

The 5th video will show you how do Drag and Drop on a number line.

 

 

The 6th video will discuss how to Drag and Drop with problems where the item that is chosen does not disappear.  It will replenish.
